The Elizabeth Fry Society of Manitoba is hosting a ten week Hip Hop in the North End program beginning on January 18, 2010 (no class February 15 to honour Louis Riel Day).
Hip Hop is being taught by the wonderful people of X-Company. This is a North End/Point Douglas initiative and is being provided to women who normally would not have access to this type of programming due to the cost at most facilities.
Registration is necessary. Healthy snacks will be provided. A certificate of completion will be issued with 80% attendance (8 out of 10 classes). For those who need to take the bus, we will provide bus tickets.
Space is limited, but if you can think of any women who would benefit from this program, please contact Heather or Shawn at the EFSM office, 589-7335 (ext 224 for Heather and 227 for Shawn).
Funding for this program has been generously provided by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority along with Elizabeth Fry Society of Manitoba Inc.
